Description Economic and Stretchable. Don’t be fooled by non-stretchable lookalikes! Low long term maintenance, no cutting off tubes and slimy bark! Photodegradable HDPE will breakdown in sunlight GENERAL NOTE FOR FINE MESH SHELTERS:- Airspace = 47% of the total area We recommend the use of ‘Balance’ Fine Mesh Tree Shelters with a solid bottom if rabbit density is high, for greater protection. Stakes placed inside shelters should be removed prior to stem touching the stake and being damaged. These shelters will photo-degrade in time, but this will depend on UV penetration and sunlight over a number of years. The shelters will gently stretch once under pressure. If, however, sufficient degradation has not occurred when the net has been stretched to its limit, the tree shelter may need to be removed prior to damage to the tree occurring. If high populations of deer, especially fallow or red, are known to exist, deer fencing should be considered as an alternative to individual protection. Our shelters will, however, reduce tree damage in the majority of situations. Fixing: 60cm Shelters support with two canes 3ft 14/16lb or 16/18lb.
